I. Thermal Insulation Mechanism

The insulation mechanism of aerogel coatings is primarily reflected in three aspects: blocking thermal conduction, heat reflection, and radiative thermal insulation/heat retention.

II. Application Scenarios

Mainly used for exterior walls in regions with "Hot Summers and Cold Winters" or "Hot Summers and Warm Winters."

Building Types: High-end residential complexes, Grade-A office buildings, wellness and healthcare facilities, cultural and tourism venues, and landmark architectural facades.

Substrate Compatibility: Fully compatible with concrete, real stone paint, insulation boards, steel structures, and curtain wall systems.

III. Core Values

4-in-1 Multifunctionality: Integrates thermal insulation, hydrophobicity (water repellency) & weather resistance, crack & mold resistance, and eco-friendly energy saving.

Ultra-Thin & Lightweight: A thin coating of 2–5mm adds negligible weight and does not alter the aesthetic texture of the facade.

Summer Performance: Reduces indoor temperatures by 3–8°C, achieving 25%–35% energy savings on air conditioning.

Winter Performance: "Locks" in temperature to reduce heat loss, achieving 20%–30% energy savings on heating.

Superior Durability: Resistant to acid rain, salt spray, and intense sun exposure. Its high elasticity resists cracking caused by thermal expansion and contraction.

Sustainable Living: Extends the exterior wall renovation cycle to 8–10 years. The water-based formula meets green building standards with zero odor, ensuring a human-friendly environment.

IV. Technical Specifications (Core Indicators)

Temperature Resistance: -40°C to 120°C

Thermal Conductivity: ≤ 0.044 W/(m·K)

Adhesion Strength: ≥ 0.6 MPa

Environmental Standard: Water-based, eco-friendly, and zero formaldehyde.

V. Application Procedure (Construction Process)

The application follows this sequence: Substrate Treatment → Putty Application → Primer → Aerogel Insulation Mid-coat → Topcoat.

Drying Time: Each subsequent layer must be applied only after the previous layer is completely surface-dry.

Uniformity: All materials must be applied evenly and achieve a firm bond between layers.

Substrate Treatment Requirements:

The wall surface must be clean and free of debris.

Moisture Content: If moisture is >10%, let it dry. If ≤8%, lightly moisten with water, wait for surface water to disappear, then apply an interface agent.

pH Value: If pH >10, apply alkali-resistant putty for sealing.

Putty Application:

Applied in 2–3 layers; each layer should not exceed 2mm in thickness.

Sand each layer after drying to remove dust; the final layer must be sanded perfectly flat.

The primer can be applied via roller, brush, or spray, working from top to bottom.

Aerogel Mid-coat Application:

Recommended for troweling or spraying at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.

Troweling: Apply in stages; each layer should not exceed 2mm. Ensure each layer is compacted and firmly bonded.

Spraying: Can be applied in a single pass to reach the specified thickness.

Final Step: Allow the aerogel mid-coat to dry thoroughly (72 hours at room temperature) before applying the decorative topcoat.

VI. Engineering & Economic Benefits

Cost Efficiency: Reduces comprehensive construction costs and eliminates frequent post-maintenance expenses.

Energy Savings: Continuously lowers building energy consumption, providing long-term cost reductions for both property management and owners.

Problem Solver: Solves common industry pain points where exterior insulation fails to be waterproof, or waterproof layers fail to resist temperature fluctuations and cracking.

Asset Value: Enhances building quality and competitiveness with a coating lifespan of ≥8 years, providing long-term peace of mind.

✅ Precautions

Weather Conditions: Suspend construction during extreme temperatures, high humidity, rain, snow, or strong winds.

Protection: Avoid scratching the finished surface with sharp objects.

Easy Repair: Localized damage can be repaired by re-coating with the same model, resulting in a seamless finish with no color difference.

Compatibility: Highly compatible with all mainstream exterior wall substrates, ensuring high construction efficiency.
