Product Description
Glass Heat-Insulating Coating is a high-performance, transparent, water-based functional coating formulated with advanced nanotechnology. A stable nano-ceramic system carries rare-metal (rare-gold) nanoparticles that selectively absorb the solar spectrum, blocking near-infrared heat and ultraviolet radiation while leaving visible light largely untouched - true "light-heat separation." Applied as a thin, uniform film (dry thickness only 3–4 μm), it keeps interiors bright and naturally lit while cutting solar heat gain, and it reduces UV-driven aging of furniture, textiles, and decorative materials. The cured film reaches a surface hardness of 8H (Mitsubishi pencil), shows infrared blocking above 90% at 1400 nm and 99% UV blocking, a shading coefficient of 0.49, and a measured lab temperature drop (ΔT) of 10–18 °C. It is a single-component, water-based, eco-friendly product designed for 10+ years of service without bubbling, peeling, or color change.
Where product 35 is an adhered, removable film, this is a liquid coating - a seamless, edge-free finish applied directly to clean glass by sponge coating, with no film edges to lift or peel at corners. Our dedicated coating production line batches the nanocoating to a fixed solid content of 29 ± 1%, so buyers receive a concentrate with consistent viscosity and optical performance rather than a formulation that varies between tanks. The low application weight (20–25 g/m²) also keeps logistics lean, and the water-based system carries the export documentation buyers need for existing-building glazing retrofits.

Applications
- Residential building glass - blocks infrared heat and UV while keeping 80% transparency, cooling interiors and protecting furnishings.
- Commercial building curtain walls - a seamless, high-hardness 8H film reduces solar heat gain and lowers air-conditioning load across large glazed facades.
- Indoor/outdoor glass facilities requiring heat and UV control with natural light - suitable where a film would be impractical (large, curved, or hard-to-edge glass).
Customization
Coating concentrate and application schedule can be tuned to glass size and required single-layer film thickness; tint/transparency level is discussed per project.
Packaging & Transportation
Liquid product in drums, securely palletized, strapped, and wrapped. EXW shipment from our Deqing, Zhejiang base with full export documentation and MSDS/SDS. Exact drum sizes are To Be Confirmed.
FAQ
Q: How is this different from the glass heat-insulating film?
A: The film is a pre-made PET sheet adhered to the glass; this coating is a liquid, water-based nanocoating applied by sponge to a 3–4 μm dry film, giving a seamless finish with no edges to lift.
Q: How long until it is fully cured?
A: Surface cure is 20–60 minutes depending on ambient temperature, but full hard cure takes more than 7 days; performance testing should follow complete curing.
Q: What thermal performance can be expected?
A: It blocks >90% of infrared at 1400 nm and 99% of UV, with a shading coefficient of 0.49 and a measured lab temperature drop (ΔT) of 10–18 °C.
