Internal Wall Insulation

The Inorganic Insulation Paste System (model DQYT) is an energy-saving internal/external wall insulation system developed for hot-summer and cold-winter regions. Its insulating layer is a dry-mix paste made from inorganic lightweight aggregates — glass beads and expanded perlite — bound by high-quality cement, lime, and polymer additives. Because the whole system is inorganic, it avoids the flammability and aging problems of traditional organic foam insulation, which is its primary advantage for projects where fire safety on the building envelope is a hard requirement. The system is built up from an interface mortar coat, layered plastering of the insulation paste to design thickness, and a surface layer of anti-cracking mortar with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh as the reinforcing protective layer. It is formulated to resist hollowing, cracking, water seepage, and delamination over the long service life of the building.

Product Description

The Inorganic Insulation Paste System (model DQYT) is an energy-saving internal/external wall insulation system developed for hot-summer and cold-winter regions. Its insulating layer is a dry-mix paste made from inorganic lightweight aggregates - glass beads and expanded perlite - bound by high-quality cement, lime, and polymer additives.

Our fully automated dry-mix lines let us blend the lightweight aggregate, cementitious binder, and polymer additives to a consistent thermal conductivity of 0.042–0.06 W/(m·K), so buyers receive a paste that insulates reliably without losing compressive strength. Supplying the complete system - interface mortar, insulation paste, and anti-cracking mortar - from one Deqing manufacturer also means the layer dosages are pre-configured (interface ~1.5 kg/m²/mm, insulation paste ~7.5 kg/m²/cm, anti-cracking ~1.5 kg/m²/mm), reducing the risk that a contractor mismatches materials from different suppliers.

Applications

- Internal wall insulation in hot-summer/cold-winter climate zones - raises envelope thermal performance and indoor comfort while meeting strict fire-performance requirements.

- Projects where organic foam insulation is restricted by fire code - the fully inorganic system avoids flammable and aging-prone organic materials.

- Wall bases prone to hollowing, cracking, or water seepage - the bonded interface and mesh-reinforced anti-crack layer address these common envelope defects.

Customization

Type I / Type II grades and layer thickness are selected to the project's thermal and structural design; the system can be supplied as the complete layer set or as insulation paste alone.

Packaging & Transportation

25 kg ± 0.5 kg moisture-proof bags (Type I / Type II), 40 bags per pallet, shrink-wrapped and strapped. Note the 20-day shelf life. EXW container shipment from our Deqing, Zhejiang base.

FAQ

Q: Why choose an inorganic paste over organic foam insulation?

A: The inorganic system does not have the flammability and aging issues of organic foams, giving it a clear safety advantage where fire performance of the envelope is strictly regulated.

Q: What is the typical build-up on site?

A: Brush interface mortar (1–2 mm), plaster insulation paste in layers to design thickness (single lift ≤ 20 mm, typically 20–35 mm total), then finish with anti-cracking mortar and alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh.

Q: Does the material have a limited shelf life?

A: Yes. The DQYT paste is supplied in 25 kg ± 0.5 kg bags with a 20-day shelf life, so production and shipment should be planned around construction consumption.
