Product Description
Our polymer thin set mortar is a factory-blended cementitious adhesive formulated with graded mineral aggregates, polymers and functional additives. It is mixed with clean water on site and applied as a controlled thin bonding bed for ceramic tile, porcelain tile, vitrified tile and compatible natural stone. The polymer modification improves adhesion, water retention and working characteristics compared with ordinary sand-cement mortar. A properly selected polymer thin set mortar can provide good contact beneath the tile while limiting the excessive thickness and uneven shrinkage often associated with traditional site-mixed mortar. Modern polymer-fortified thin-set mortars are widely used for interior and exterior wall and floor installations.
We formulate polymer thin set mortar for professional installers who need predictable mixing and application from one batch to the next. The powder is produced under controlled factory conditions, so contractors do not need to measure cement, sand and polymer additives separately on the job site. After mixing, the mortar should have a smooth consistency that can be spread with a notched trowel and transfer effectively to the back of the tile. Correct trowel selection, directional combing and adequate tile coverage remain essential, particularly for exterior, wet-area or large-format installation.
