Product Description
Our waterproofing mortar rapid set is a fast-hardening cementitious repair material developed for localized waterproofing repairs, damaged concrete or mortar surfaces and areas requiring a shorter waiting period before subsequent work. The formulation combines cement, graded aggregates and functional additives to produce a cohesive mortar that can be placed by trowel or hand tools. Compared with conventional repair mortar, waterproofing mortar rapid set develops its initial structure more quickly, helping contractors restore corners, holes, pipe penetrations and defective waterproofing details without leaving the repair area open for an extended period. Cementitious waterproof mortars are commonly used to protect prepared concrete and masonry from damp soil, seepage and water penetration.
The product is intended for controlled repair rather than for covering moving structural cracks or replacing a complete waterproofing design. Before application, loose mortar, dust, oil and weak concrete must be removed. The substrate should be sound and prepared according to the selected formulation. Waterproofing mortar rapid set can then be pressed firmly into the repair area to obtain full contact, particularly around edges and penetrations. Where an active high-pressure leak is present, a dedicated water-plugging compound or additional pressure-relief treatment may be required before applying the repair mortar. This clear construction sequence gives distributors and contractors a practical product for maintenance work while avoiding claims that a single bag of rapid mortar can solve every source of water ingress.
