Product Description
Our non porous surface primer is designed to prepare dense, smooth and low-absorption substrates before the application of self-leveling mortar, tile adhesive, repair mortar or other cementitious materials. Surfaces such as existing ceramic tile, epoxy moisture-control layers, polished concrete and terrazzo often provide limited mechanical grip for a new mortar layer. The non porous surface primer forms a textured intermediate layer that improves surface wetting and gives the next material a more suitable bonding profile. Professional primers for nonporous substrates are commonly water-based acrylic systems with a textured finish, allowing cementitious underlayments to adhere more securely to dense surfaces.
Renovation projects often lose time because old floor finishes are removed unnecessarily or because a new material is applied directly to an unsuitable surface. Our non porous surface primer provides a more controlled preparation route when the existing substrate is sound, clean and approved for overcoating. It can be applied evenly by roller or brush, with the visible coating helping installers identify missed areas. Once dry, the treated surface can receive the specified mortar or leveling product. The non porous surface primer does not compensate for weak tiles, loose coatings, oil contamination or structural movement. These defects must be removed or repaired before priming. This clear separation between surface preparation and structural repair helps contractors avoid using primer as a solution for conditions it was not designed to address.

Factory Strength
Our factory operates a full-automatic self-leveling mortar production line together with special dry-mix mortar, aerogel coating and inorganic thermal-insulation paste production lines. This equipment supports the development of complete preparation and finishing systems rather than isolated products. Deqing Yangtai has worked in floor treatment, leveling and self-leveling technology for more than 20 years.
Compatibility Control
Primer performance depends on the relationship between the primer, substrate and following material. Before full application, we recommend confirming adhesion through a test area under actual site conditions. Dense tile glaze, epoxy coating, moisture barriers and polished concrete may have different surface energies, so cleaning, abrasion or other preparation may be required before applying the non porous surface primer.
Application Support
We provide usage instructions and technical communication for customers selecting a primer for renovation or self-leveling systems. Support can cover substrate identification, surface cleaning, application tools and the sequence between primer and the following mortar. Our after-sales service also includes quality assurance and technical assistance for site-related questions.
