Tile Renewal Coating

Aging exterior high-rise walls clad in decorative facing tiles become a public safety hazard: weathering, moisture and thermal cycles loosen the tiles, leading to peeling, cracking and falling panels. Removing those tiles is itself dangerous, expensive and structurally invasive. Our Tile Renewal Coating is a penetrating stabilizer combined with a high-strength interface coat, developed over our 20+ years of R&D in old-wall renovation. It soaks deep into weathered grout lines and micro-cracks, binds loose particles, and seals the substrate against water ingress, then cures into a flexible, micro-textured surface ready to receive new decorative coatings, texture paints or plaster — all without taking the old tiles off.

Product Description

Aging exterior high-rise walls clad in decorative facing tiles become a public safety hazard: weathering, moisture and thermal cycles loosen the tiles, leading to peeling, cracking and falling panels. Removing those tiles is itself dangerous, expensive and structurally invasive. Our Tile Renewal Coating is a penetrating stabilizer combined with a high-strength interface coat, developed over our 20+ years of R&D in old-wall renovation. It soaks deep into weathered grout lines and micro-cracks, binds loose particles, and seals the substrate against water ingress, then cures into a flexible, micro-textured surface ready to receive new decorative coatings, texture paints or plaster - all without taking the old tiles off.

High-rise facade products must flex and survive the elements, and our R&D center has optimized this elastomeric polymer for freeze-thaw cycles, wind loads and UV exposure typical of tower exteriors. Its alkali resistance blocks efflorescence - the unsightly white salt bloom that otherwise migrates from old masonry into a new decorative finish. For distributors and renovation contractors, that combination removes the biggest liabilities of facade work: falling-tile risk, efflorescence stains, and the cost of dangerous suspended-scaffold demolition. The result is a certified, low-VOC recoating path that turns a hazard into a refreshed, durable skin.

Applications

- Stabilizing aging exterior facing tiles before repainting or recoating - binds loose tiles and grout in place so a new finish can be applied over the existing facade.

- Restoring weathered exterior mosaics, brick slips and natural-stone facades - the flexible coat bridges micro-cracks and seals out moisture without demolition.

- Anti-efflorescence sealing of aged concrete and masonry walls - the alkali-resistant barrier stops white salt bloom from staining the new decorative layer.

Customization

Custom solid content and viscosity to suit local spray or roller application; private-label branding (e.g. 20 kg buckets) and localized technical data sheets.

Packaging & Transportation

20 kg high-quality plastic buckets, standard pallet stacking with tight stretch wrap and protective edge corners. Prompt dispatch in sea containers EXW Deqing directly to your destination port.

FAQ

Q: Do the old facing tiles have to be removed first?

A: No. That is the purpose of this coating: it penetrates and stabilizes the existing tiles, then provides a textured base for new finishes without demolition, which is far safer on high-rises.

Q: Why is flexibility important for an exterior renovation coat?

A: Building facades move with temperature and wind. At ≥150% elongation at break, the coat stretches with the wall instead of cracking, and it survives freeze-thaw and UV exposure.

Q: Will white salt stains (efflorescence) show through the new paint?

A: The coating's alkali resistance is designed to block efflorescence migrating from the old masonry, so white salt bloom is prevented from showing through the new decorative finish.
