Product Description
Our waterproof stone adhesive is a water-resistant, polymer-modified adhesive formulated for installing compatible natural stone in areas exposed to moisture, rain or frequent cleaning. It combines cementitious binders, graded mineral aggregates and polymers to maintain close adhesion between the stone and prepared substrate. The waterproof stone adhesive is suitable for applications where ordinary site-mixed mortar may absorb water excessively, lose workability or provide inconsistent contact. Professional polymer-enhanced stone mortars are widely used for interior and exterior wall and floor applications, while selected high-performance grades can also be used in demanding wet environments.
The term "waterproof" must be understood correctly. The waterproof stone adhesive provides a water-resistant bonding layer, but it does not automatically replace the waterproofing membrane beneath the stone. Bathrooms, balconies, terraces and pools still require a properly designed waterproofing system where specified. Our waterproof stone adhesive is intended to work as part of that system, providing stable stone bonding over an approved waterproof substrate. Light-colored or translucent stone should normally use a white grade to reduce the risk of visible shading. Moisture-sensitive, resin-backed or agglomerated stone must be tested and may require an epoxy or polyurethane adhesive instead of a cement-based product. This transparent technical positioning helps distributors avoid overpromising and gives professional buyers confidence in the recommendation.
