Pool Waterproof Mortar (Yangtai YT-500) is a grey, single-component powder that uses polymer modification to combine rigid cementitious density with flexible film character, forming a dense, continuous waterproof layer that bridges minor substrate movement. It is the grade specified where standing water and water pressure matter - swimming pools, water tanks, basements, wet rooms, and sloped roofs - because it bonds without delamination and flexes enough to stay crack-free under minor structural deformation. Compared with membrane-style waterproofing, it is non-toxic, non-combustible, freeze-resistant, and aging-resistant, and it tolerates damp or humid application surfaces.
Mixing is simple: blend powder at roughly a 1:3.5 water-to-powder ratio to a workable slurry, then apply two perpendicular coats with the second after the first is touch-dry, reinforcing internal corners, pipe penetrations, and cold joints. At a 1 mm build the material runs about 1.4 kg/m², and the system calls for a 48-hour cure followed by a flood leak test.
