Product Description
Wall Waterproofer is a milky-white, styrene-acrylic emulsion used as a dedicated pre-treatment primer before waterproof slurry or membrane application on walls and floors. Its role is to solve the failure points that show up at corners, internal angles, pinholes, and dry or powdery substrates: pinholes, blistering, and loss of adhesion. The emulsion penetrates the wall surface, densifies it, and drops the substrate water-absorption rate, so the following waterproof layer builds evenly instead of being bled dry or bubbling on rough suction.
It also raises adhesion on smooth base interfaces and improves brushability, which speeds up the work and lifts finish quality. The treated surface should already be flat, firm, and free of hollowing, peeling, cracks, dust, and oil so the emulsion can fully wet in. Theoretical coverage is roughly 10 m² per kilogram per single coat, with real use varying by substrate density and ambient conditions. For a factory that runs a dedicated coating line, the emulsion's solids content and wetting profile are held to a tight tolerance batch to batch, which is why the primer performs predictably under the polymer slurry we supply alongside it.

FAQ
Q: Do I still need this primer if I am using polymer waterproof slurry?
A: Yes. It is designed as the pre-treatment layer under that very slurry: it stops pinholes and blistering at corners and dry patches that the slurry alone cannot fix.
Q: When can I apply the waterproof layer after priming?
A: Wait until the primer coat is dry - transparent and non-sticky to the touch, typically 1–2 hours - then proceed with the waterproof slurry. Do not over-coat while it is still tacky.
Q: What condition must the wall be in before priming?
A: It must be flat, firm, and free of hollowing, peeling, cracks, dust, and oil. Loose or powdery material should be brushed off first; otherwise the emulsion cannot key into the substrate.
