Stone Back Mesh Adhesive

Stone Back Mesh Adhesive (flexible waterproof stone back mesh adhesive, related to the YT-306 system) is a two-component backing mesh material modified with imported polymer emulsion and compounded from multiple inorganic silicate cementitious materials. It is engineered for stone reinforcement and protection: it cures with minimal shrinkage, stays tough, and is low-odor and eco-friendly, while helping prevent common stone defects such as water stains and efflorescence. The emulsion penetrates deeply into the stone back to raise overall strength and structurally reinforce the panel, and it can be applied over the existing factory backing mesh without removing it, which saves labor and avoids stone damage during rework. The cured mesh layer bonds compatibly with cementitious adhesives, lowering the risk of hollow spots or detachment during wet-set installation.

Because the emulsion is imported and sourced through a vetted supply chain, the penetration and toughness of the liquid component stay stable across batches. Our coating line then packages the emulsion and the inorganic cement powder in a fixed drum-to-bag ratio, so a set always mixes to the same consistency on the fabrication floor. This matched two-component supply, combined with years of wet-set and dry-hang stone work in East China projects, lets fabricators standardize one procedure instead of re-tuning the mix per shipment.

- Marble and granite reinforcement in fabrication workshops - deep-penetrating emulsion structurally strengthens natural stone panels before wet-set or dry-hang installation.

- Wet-set and dry-hung stone installations - the cured mesh layer is compatible with cementitious adhesives, preventing hollowing and detachment under load.

- Curtain wall and interior/exterior stone facades - waterproof, flexible bonding gives long-term stable reinforcement on exposed curtain wall and large-format stone systems.

- Reinforcing existing mesh-backed panels - applying over the original mesh avoids ripping it off, reducing breakage and labor on repeat or corrective work.

Emulsion grade and coverage can be matched to stone type (marble vs. granite) and installation method; custom drum/bag labeling, private-brand packaging, and project-specific mixing kits are available on request.

The emulsion is packed in 20 kg plastic drums and 200 kg drums, and the powder in 30 kg composite bags; sets are palletized, strapped and shrink-wrapped. Goods ship ex-factory (EXW) from Deqing, Zhejiang, with SDS supplied for the liquid emulsion component.
