JS Waterproof Paint

JS Waterproof Paint

JS Waterproof Paint (JS composite waterproof coating) is an eco-friendly, two-component, water-based building waterproofing material that pairs a polymer emulsion such as acrylic ester as the liquid component with a cement-and-additive powder. Cured, the film combines the elasticity and elongation of a polymer with the durability of inorganic cement, sticking tightly to the substrate, resisting aging, and forming a continuous, seamless waterproof barrier. Because it is water-based, it is non-toxic, odorless, and can be applied onto damp substrates, making it a practical alternative to solvent-based waterproofing on interior and exterior work. It is offered in Type I and Type II to match exposure level rather than forcing one product into every environment.

Product Description

Our dedicated coating line handles the acrylic emulsion and the cement powder as a matched set, so the liquid-to-powder blend ratio in the set stays consistent shipment after shipment. The laboratory runs application-consistency checks across the cross-hatch layering method customers actually use on site, which reduces field variation between the emulsion and powder as they age in the drum. With both components produced under one Deqing roof, set ratios and shelf life are controlled rather than sourced from two third parties.

Applications

- Type I - roofs and walls not permanently submerged - the more flexible, polymer-rich coat suits non-submerged areas that flex with temperature, such as roof surfaces and exterior walls.

- Type II - pools, bathrooms and basement floors - the cement-rich grade delivers higher strength and water resistance for environments under prolonged immersion.

- Inside and outside corners and pipe penetrations - reinforcement mesh or tape is built into the first coat at these detail points to stop cracks telegraphing through.

- Damp-substrate interior wet areas - water-based, low-odor chemistry allows work on partially damp concrete without solvent fume concerns.

Customization

Type I / Type II selection can be locked to the project exposure; custom drum and bag sizes, private-brand labeling, and matched reinforcement-tape supply are available on request, with formulation cost assessed per requirement.

Packaging & Transportation

The liquid emulsion is packed in plastic drums (standard drum range for liquid products) and the powder in moisture-proof bags; sets are palletized, strapped and shrink-wrapped. Goods ship ex-factory (EXW) from Deqing, Zhejiang, with SDS supplied for the liquid component; exact drum capacity per SKU is confirmed per order.

FAQ

Q: Which JS type do I choose for a swimming pool?

A: Select Type II, the cement-rich grade, because it is designed for permanently submerged environments such as pools, bathrooms, and basement floors where water resistance and strength matter more than flexibility.

Q: How should the layers be applied on site?

A: Clean and moisten the substrate with no standing water, mix liquid and powder at the specified ratio, reinforce corners and penetrations first, then apply 2–3 layers by the cross-hatch method, letting each layer dry fully before the next.

Q: When do I run the water-retention test?

A: Wait until the coating has fully cured, then carry out the ponding or water-retention test. Do not test on a partially dried film, because early inspection can misread the cure state.
